Just Say No to V-Day
Ok. I confess. My new obession is designing T-Shirts. There is this amazing website where you can supply your designs and this company will sell, print, ship and do everything else for you. Its sooo cool. In fact anyone can use the site--like if you were having a family reunion and you wanted tshirts printed--all you'd have to do is to go there, submit your designs and then buy your own shirts!!! The other great thing is that they have contests with all the designers to boost sales and traffic to the site. The latest contest is to design Anti-Valentines Day t-shirts. Apparently there are a lot of haters out there (Amy) and these were big sellers last year!
So, I am opening this contest to all you creative types--help me name some tshirts and I will come up with designs to match. So far, I have:
- Cupids are Stupids
- Single with two cats and loving it
- Simply Red-iculous

why stop at hallmark holidays, let's get the entire collection from the dominant cultural paridigm. Ok, enough spouting. I vote for Cupids are Stupids. Visualize a cherub with an arrow through the head. Or..... "Valentines Day, Another Opportunity to Feel Like A Loser".
I love VD Another Oppty to feel like a loser. I am also thinking about conversation hearts (my FAV Vd day treat--second only to my other holiday indulgence, Candy Corn). So I may go with:

Screw Off
